Breh where do you consider x in your best of all time lists. I know you an East coast cat and that's why I'm asking you, just wanna see how highly he was held up there. Pacs my no.1 with x at a 2. This is my personal list, got mad respect for Nas Big and Jay from the east maybe in that order, and ain't mad at anyone that puts any of them in their personal goat. But some of these rappers like Pac and x that are more straightforward with their lyrics get downplayed in their skills.
He may not have been a lyrical miracle rapper but he had a skill of putting words together, a true poet

X is in my top 10. He’s my all time favorite rapper tied with Big.

Big, Jay, Nas, KRS, Cube, G Rap, Rakim, Redman are my top 8 that are never changing. X is in the 9th slot. I always have issues picking who’s number 10. Sometimes it’s Face, sometimes its Ras Kass, LL, Pun, Black Thought, Common, Monch etc

These past few weeks have really brought me closer to God. Made me want to get right with him and develop that relationship like X did

"In this time of spiritual warfare we're comfortable in the middle" I realized spending my time living without clear direction and waffling about my faith and purpose will only keep me stagnant in life

No matter what happens I'm doing whatever I can to stay grounded spiritually and live with a purpose. Living like I only have one more move to make

Good stuff breh. It's never too late or a wrong time/reason to get right with God.

The thing about X and his faith is it shows us a realer side of a man and his spirituality. People have this idea of what a Christian should be like, and a guy like X breaks that mold. It angers alot of religious people, even though Jesus was completely against the idea of religion, and fought against the church.

Everyone should strive to have a close relationship with God just as X did. I'm constantly trying to (re)build mine.

the first forum I ever remember posting on was the dmx sub forum on def jams old site....from there I went to another x board, to allhiphop, to sohh, to the coli
