A lot of people in their clique either have a serious drug problem, or hang out with folks that have them.
Think about it, who were those ASAP dudes associated with when they got their foot in the door?

Dudes like Schoolboy Q, Retch, Dash, Mac Miller, Danny Brown back when he was on the reckless tip, etc.

Plus if she was really doing modeling work as a teenager then she was already used to being around drugs before she met any of the ASAP dudes.
