basically, only section that felt similar to resident evil was leons, and even his felt more like a movie than an actual resident evil game.

Man even the first zombie encounter had me like :rudy:. VERY anticlimatic.

Idk I got a gamefly I'll put it on my queue and play it anyway and see whats up with the full game. Either way I'm glad I wasn't really hyping this game up.

I'm not sure what's going on the impressions and early reviews thus far seem to not corroborate with what was said about the demo. Maybe the demo was shytty and old.

Just finished playing a few hours of the RE6 360 retail SKU.

Downloaded the Dragon's Dogma demo and the Public Demo and was a bit mixed in reaction. Though I liked the environments I was afraid the next installment would seem a bit stale.

Just need to confirm that the demos don't come close to the amount of sheer intensity and surprises the sequel has in store (and this is only a few hours into Leon's campaign).

I don't want to spoil anything, but I'll just say the zombies are very creative in their attacks and there are A TON of new variants. Also, the game can mob you with plenty of them. What's nice is that it's up to the player how many they want to take down. Pick off more and you receive more skill points and ammo. But you risk losing a chunk of health - and every zombie attack takes off a considerable amount.

The environments are AMAZING. Some of the best in terms of mood, lighting, and sound.

The new dash and dodge moves and completely necessary to take on the new zombies. It takes getting used to and can be clunky in moments, but they are effective.

well if you played part 5 then you know what chris's is all about...the thing is RE5 was so left field from 4 that the setting in RE5 took all of the scare/horror tense moments away plus the fact that we're older now..(even tho dead space 2 scared the holy fukk outta me & i was so shook when i played part 1's demo i died viciously and never played it again :damn:)

remember how (some resident evil fans) complained that we couldn't run & shoot and now we can so we're not used to that and it kind of takes away the feeling of being helpless......think now about how in RE1 when a zombie ran up you that you couldn't kick/punch the fukk out of it but now that we can it's like :wtf: so we feel as though the enemies aren't as formidable + the fact that you have a shyt load of weapons/ammo/upgrade system


so all in all i think that's what it is (i still dont approve of that leon DDT & that bytch helena being able to do the people's elbow on zombies)

I read about the demo in Game Informer and was thoroughly disappointed. They really need to make the creatures more demonic. There needs to brains in the anus, vicious mouths sprouting from the genitalia, the heads of babies for nipples, horns with virgins impaled upon them. This is a game for friends, Barney and Friends.

It needs to be more demonic, friend. :sitdown:
