Dang so this is really that hard?
I don't know what they did, but I'm on Standard difficulty. It feels challenging without being Dark Souls brutal. Probably the hardest Resident Evil that I've experienced.

And there is hardcore and professional mode too. I'm kind of surprised that they Boosted the difficulty way up.

Some parts yeah.
On hardcore I’ve gotten caught up in a few sections. Nothing has gotten me too stuck though.
Just play on the difficulty that feels appropriate to you.
I hate when other people dismiss a game for being to hard when they could put it on normal or easy. The point is to enjoy your time; not to have a virtual pissing match with strangers on the internet.

Hardest parts are

beginning village part
The cabin
double garrador
Verdugo

Other than that it didn't seem that bad once you get tooled up. but I havent played pro yet, that shyt looks hard asf and not even fun. nikkas just running past most of the enemies whats the point.

Verdugo was one of the scariest parts, but you can run or just dump ammo on it. If you don't use the magnum then yeah it's probably that hard.

The others I agree with, Double Garrador i died 10+ times. I'd throw Salazar in there too, that fight was hard on my eyes looking for the sludge pools too.

I beat re2 this week and am almost done with re3
I feel it’s better in every way. Better graphics, the r1 dodge button is a huge improvement from 2. The pacing and story are done a lot better. Nemesis and the hunters chasing you makes the game a lot more scary… r2 I felt was too much backtracking and overlap with Leon/Claire stories.

Playing on professional mode is fukking hell brehs:mjcry: I just end up running past mobs cause they murk you so damn fast and don’t stagger at all

I’ve died at least 20 times on chapter 10 against them garradors, I can’t even imagine how hard the island will be:sadcam: that area kicked my ass in standard mode

:gucci: Capcom keeps missing an opportunity. To put ebony/Ivory and the blue rose. As a unlockable gun in a RE game. RE4 was the perfect opportunity because. It’s existence created DMC1 smh.

Just finished Ch 10. Maybe it’s because I’m doing Hardcore but I had to look see how many chapters I had left. This mf just keeps going :why: I don’t remember being so ready for this mf to be over in the OG, and I know they’ve even skipped out on some content. I’m fw it, but I shoulda just went through normal so I just burn through it. I’ll wait until I’m done but give me RE2 over this, same as the OGs
