Ok hardcore mode is kicking my ass :snoop:

So I’m at the part in the parking garage after I get the electric to work instead of going back to jail cell I go the other way and find my self in the police station and progress more til I get to the part where Mr X
is chasing me :snoop:

So on hardcore mode how do you stumble him ?

When you first see him you have no way to avoid him ?

Hints please
Don't fight him. No point in wasting bullets. You at the part where you finished the first boss fight? I know Mr.X don't really show up in the jail cell area until you get the ID badge from the locked jail cell.

ahhh so these ghost survivor campaigns are what if stories, well this ain't the first time capcom did a what if story they did an audio album on Sherry Birkin where she loses Leon and Claire after they got chased by U.S.S. agents, she ended up getting lost in the Arklay mountains and manages to find herself in the in a nearby town called Stoneville. In this version, Rac00n City including Stonesville gets naplamed.

There's another RE2 Ada Wong what if the story called 'The Female Spy Ada Lives' The album deals with Ada's continuing quest to recover a sample of the G-Virus, after having failed to retrieve one in Racc00n City, where she was believed dead. With the only known surviving sample being in the possession of the Umbrella agent, HUNK, Ada heads off to France, where he is due to hand the sample over to Umbrella in Loire. A mysterious epidemic leads to the village's destruction by the French Air Force.

Lastly there's a 3 volume drama album revolving around Rac00n City inhabitants and out of towners trying to survive the chaos the story occurs before Jill, Leon, and Claire arrives in town and after the group arrives in racc00n city.

Here's Audio if you understand Japanese, there's also translated text online to go with the audio drama.

No. I never backtracked for it. I only backtracked for Lightning Hawk in Leon’s run but I left the sub machine gun alone for Claire’s. Not enough time (for me at least) and too stressful considering you have all of those enemies and Mr. X to deal with.

Was it rough for you without the sub during the g2/g3 fights?

Also when did you save?

Most of the runs I see that skip the sub hit 1:38-48 minutes total. So I should be good on getting it with atleast a 20 min buffer. Gonna have to make a checklist and plan that whole garage/rpd 2 thing out.

G2 wasn't bad, I know the hitboxes for attacks/animations and used that to avoid taking damage. I wish I could just put my grenades into him so I could have the crane knock him over in one swing but the key is to take the path of least resistance and use as little ammo/resources as possible.

I had only a few (8 or so) flame rounds and quite a bit of acid rounds (over 20) for G3. Idk to be honest, but I THINK that its best to hit G3 with grenade rounds in a defensive manner to knock him back when he's charging/walking towards you so you can run past him or away from him and position yourself to land handgun rounds/high powered rounds on his eyes. The big thing with resident evil is to manipulate the enemies into doing animations that lock them into following a path that you can avoid, (like making a zombie charge after you so you can run by them since the animation is a line attack).

An example of making a zombie charge after you to avoid him:

G4 was the most annoying because you can actually be shooting him to the point of running out of time so its best to really be as precise as possible.

My three saves are:

  • In the secret room before the G1 fight (In hindsight I would prefer to save after but its safer considering that you'd have to go back over 20-40 minutes if you die and even if you beat him you can go back if you used too many resources fighting him)
  • Before the G2 fight (or when you first get to the circuit room with the plugs)
  • When I first got into the NEST/North Wing

The biggest thing is to do the bold because if you know they enemy spawns, item locations and path you need to go you can get it done. The only problem is the execution because to be honest, I usually don't take health items with me to save inventory space so I can pick up as much as possible but it is risky if you're far in between saves.

The hardest segments for me is the sewer section to get the king and queen plugs* and the NEST greenhouse after you get the keycard (especially with Leon since X is still around)

*There is a strategy you can take where you'll just need 2 handgun rounds and 2-3 sparkshot needles to get past those G Adults. If there are any other segments you need assistance on lemme know.
