Yup. That's one of the things that if you mention, old school gamers will call you a "casual" for, but I agree with you.
My time is limited. I don't have any interest in having sections where I'm completely lost without a clear understanding of where I need to go or what I need to do next.
I don't mind taking a minute to solve a specific puzzle, or small section, but running around the same areas for 20 - 30 minutes with no real idea of what's next is stupid as hell to me for a video game.
This is a fantastic game overall, but I agree with what you said.

But alot of that was to pad a game because they had limited space for new assets. Now being basically unfettered by a data cap on a game they can focus on other stuff. I appreciate putting the detail into a tight, focused, harrowing, experience. Gimmie 6-10 hours of damn near FLAWLESS execution above 40 hours of peaks and valleys.

Finally got Claire done before 3 1/2 hours and I got the last boss in her scenario under 4 mins and I finished G Stage 2 with one use of the crane and came out to an S rank with 27 saves. I'm getting closer and closer to that plat. :therock1:
Next up is Leon scenario A, then Claire B, Leon B, then hardcore depending on which is my favorite scenario. From what yall been talking about, it just might be Claire scenario A since I know that best.:chappelle1:

That's why this game is a 9.5 and most likely a perfect 10 after the DLC comes out. After playing a 40hr game the last thing I want to do is play it again any time soon, with Red Dead Redemption 2 being the only exception obviously. With RE2 the fact that it's not as long makes me want to play it at least a hundred times. I may be biased because I always felt that RE2 was the best one in the whole series.

I bought the OG RE2 a summer ago on the og Playstation. I got pretty far but quit because shyt was difficult (ran out of ammo quick).
Is this one tough as well?
I mean if I think about it the game not really that hard if you know how to save ammo but I had none and I already saved the game at that point.

The game is fun but if you trying to play it like its Gears of War you in for a rude awakening.

and also doesn't that other character Agent Hunk has his own scenario? This game seems to be chock full of content despite the campaigns seemingly short.
