In their defense they live in a capitalist society as a consumer. It’s almost unavoidable to not engage in behavior that benefits the system.The thing that kills me about Resetera and their "anti-capitalists" ways is that it's all cap. They have a stance against companies like EA and em, but will Day One a new Dragon Age or some shyt within the same sentence. Hell, they have threads talking about emulation, knowing damn well most of the folks on that site are hitting up plug sites for the roms and shyt.
Who in their right mind going to dump old ass games in 2023, when you could be getting coochie by the time a 4gb N64 romset is downloading. Them weirdos treat video games like a damn infant, and its rather pathetic.
I shop at Costco all the time. The parking lot is a nightmare the congestion is a nightmare the lines. If I didn’t need stuff they sell I wouldn’t step foot in the place. It’s not even like they have a wide variety of food there either.

They can do what they want, but they just need to at least be consistent. Like you said JK really has nothing to do with the game. But they allowed Cyberpunk discussion/OT when the issues the trans community had were directly in the game.
I'm curious how they handle discussion on the Kingdom Come sequel. The game's writer/studio co founder is a "gamer gate" person and seems to be racist with the whole "no black ppl in middle ages" stuff. IIRC they didnt do anything to cap discussion during the first game.

I love the Cyberpunk fukkery, they have 2 or 3 threads going for The Witcher 3 even thought that game directly funded Cyberpunk.
The game itself is the classic future society with no censorship and raw sex been used in advertisement, anyone that has read a couple of sci fi stories know what I mean, men are sexualised in billboards, woman too and even robots, but apparently sexualizing threhs was crossing a line because they are better than the rest and deserve special treatment
