That age bracket definitely isn't the issue.

The people funding OF and female streamers in general are grown men with money to spend. Not even necessarily able to afford it, but they have access to money a 12-16 year old doesn’t.

Twitch has gotten pretty bad about it. Like, when I see some of the girls up there, I’m just like they’re worse than just regular sex cam girls. Mostly because you are selling sex but not within the confines of a forum where it’s specifically for that, so now you get cross traffic, mostly fukking kids because it’s video game based streaming.

I just don’t like people who pretend they’re more than what they are.

EDIT -- I'm not saying that women ONLY get by on their appearance and sexuality. And frankly I don't blame any woman for using whatever she can to her advantage. There are plenty of women on Twitch and in real life who are legitimately skilled and intelligent and interesting and funny and entertaining. But the idea that we needed a study to tell us that women leverage their sexuality more than men was a complete waste of time.
