You do realize that's why the laws were created? Too many cacs getting killed, well create a law that will license them to defend themselves apply it selectively (I.e )

Now that almost any one can obtain ccw (it's no longer expensive, it no longer requires firearm education) since some states have gone to constitutional carry, things are going to begin backsliding. Once cacs start dying by the dozens them restrictions will tighten up.

Reality that's all it will take, is about 10 cac deaths by the legal gun of a non cac and there will be a nationwide discussion on what to do.

Couple of men, even a couple of women and yeah they'll be having that open discussion on fox news and newsmax. Sure they'll be the "victims" but they'll be more than willing to concede some liberties if it means it won't be open season on their ass.
