I really don't...entertainers at least for the most part have some sort of skill or value they add to society in terms of entertainment like music ability to tell stories through movies and television or actual ability that people pay to see like professional wrestling performances
politicians just talk raise money and vote on stuff and legislate and they usually aren't experts on anything
politicians are supposed to not only be smart but wise, it ought to be a requisite of the position
furthermore, they are symbolic pillars of society because man does not live by bread alone, he is a moral animal that sees and needs to see justice and morality as his backbone IF he is to enter into communion, aka society, with other men, in fact this defines him.
