I think he said once that it wasn't surprising that some plane out of Atlanta carrying a bunch of white people went down...weeks after white cops shot and killed 3 black guys in LA..or San Francisco. I forget which.

Not saying I agree with the sentiment...but just that it reminded me of what he said. Something along the lines of "god was watching"

PITTSBURGH —Three students were shot outside Brashear High School on Wednesday afternoon as they were walking to a vehicle they had taken to class earlier in the day, a Pittsburgh Public Schools spokeswoman said.

Pittsburgh Police Bureau spokeswoman Diane Richard confirmed that no shots were fired inside the school in the city's Beechview neighborhood. She said police have not determined if there was one shooter or several, but she said witnesses reported seeing "the shooters" flee into the woods around Brashear. No descriptions are available yet.

While Richard was speaking, Sky 4 helicopter video over the area showed two people being handcuffed and placed inside a SWAT vehicle. She did not know if that activity was directly related to the shooting.

The shooting was reported shortly before 3 p.m. Allegheny County 911 dispatchers said the victims were taken to a hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries.

School district spokeswoman Ebony Pugh said the victims were not on school property, but they were close by Brashear, which is located on the side of a steep, hilly section of Crane Avenue.

Richard said one of the victims was grazed in the head and was pulled inside the school by an administrator. Two other victims were found on Lowenhill Avenue -- a side street off Crane, just above the school.

The police response in the area has dwindled somewhat, but some roads are still blocked by Pittsburgh police cars, school police cars and Allegheny County Sheriff's vehicles. A SWAT truck also responded but has left the area.
