Answer this: of all the black HC's in the league, how many of them gave VY a call?

It could just be that black coaches inherit non-white QBs because the front office is more progressive in general, leading to the hiring of a black coach in the first place. The margin was very small in the study.

There are worse QB's on NFL rosters then cats like Vince Young or Matt Leinart. But lack of work eithic and previous baggage have prevented these type of guys to be on NFL rosters. I think these cats think their previous success or their name is going to carry them forever.
