I mean thats not shocking. 224 was a weak card. I am not convinced women should be headlining unless you're talking Ronda in her heyday.

UFC also raised the price of PPVs a few months ago. I think fans are still salty about that. I know lots of people that passed on 244, myself included

This is it... Punk was taking a huge gamble wtith this...had he actually won either fight it would have increased his stature tremendously but the alternative was that he won't ever be seen in a credible way in fighting or wrestling... Now his best bet is starting a bunch of car dealerships with whatever he's saved up or live off the interest of his investments and do charity work for social causes

Here is the thing with punk...he was a geek in high school not an athlete or a jock or a tough guy

Wrestling was his escape his chance to be the guy he never was... A lot of people who pursue acting or performance art is because they never liked their real selves and it's a chance to escape

The fighting at UFC was for himself to prove to himself that he could be a real life tough guy instead of playing one on TV and be the guy he never was in high school

and now he's back to where he was in high school

It's actually a sad story on a psyche level but at least he's rich
