He probably makes $19.95 - 22$ an hour. They don't you pay you enough to take that kind of foolish risk, but a fool and his pride :snoop:

If you're still making payments on it, it's not yours. Now, not only is he losing the car, but also his freedom.

I use to be a Repo Man for US Bank in the early 1990s... we got paid $13 an hour + any money we found in the glove compartment. :manny:

You can't control how strangers will react in a desperate situation

They definitely get a kick back from towing ppl shyt. I didn’t even know it was a thing til I moved to Indy last year. Tags were expired for a few days after moving & getting situated. Wasn’t there a full week before mine got towed for my plates. Had to pay $175 & show proof of new registration.

fukk em 👿

That's completely different.

If your tags are expired the police come by and tow your shyt and it goes to the city impound.

This is an apartment complex that gives parking passes to its tenants. There's no police or city involved. Some nikka named Jerry's Towing yanking your shyt and taking it to his yard.

Bruh it’s been times where my tags were expired for months, cops never once pulled me over & they could’ve multiple times. Even when I moved here, never once fukked with me over em.

They are in cahoots with the apts & get a cut each time they pick somebody shyt up. Damn near everyone in that complex had numbers written on their windshield to indicate their car had been impounded out there. We all use to speak about it once we saw wtf was going on.

Did your shyt go to city impound or some random towing business?

If it's city, where they make you show registration and insurance and order tags and shyt...someone called the police, because that stuff has to be verified...some random tow guy can't run people plates to see if vehicles are stolen or improper plates, etc.

If it's just going to joes tow yard. That's a private company...that's who usually yanks cars.

I had to pay $175 & show proof of new registration before I got it back. Idk how it is where you at but the apts here have contracts with these towing spots. The place I was in had a sign before you entered saying if yo car is towed this is who to contact..

Nobody called the cops. The office use to pay ppl to walk around the complex & mark ppls cars to be towed over the dumbest shyt & cut them in on the money. How I know? I got real cool with these Mexicans that would use the parking lot in the back as damn body shop. Had the whole lot filled up with cars they was working on, including managers in the office. It’d be like 8 of em but only one lived out there. that’s illegal but they let em rock cuz they looked out doing cheap work on their whips.

That's exactly how it is

I misunderstood. I thought you were saying your shyt was towed because you didn't have current tags.

If your shyt got towed and in addition you happened to not have current tags, yeah you got a hold that.

No that’s exactly what I’m saying bruh :russ: I was there 3 days max. Had plans to hit up bmv on my next off day only to come outside one day & my shyt GONE. Had got off at 5 that morning, went back out at 9a & it wasn’t there. Called the tow spot & they said it was due to my plates being expired so they considered it abandoned :comeon:

  • Two people were arrested in Memphis this week after authorities said a tow truck driver was run over while attempting to repossess a Ford Fusion.
  • Brandi Revels, 27, and Nicholas Wray, 34, have been charged with aggravated assault, and Wray was identified as the "male responsible," per the Memphis Police Department.
  • TMZ has since shared a video of the alleged incident, showing a tow truck driver having his head run over.
A man and woman in Memphis have been charged with aggravated assault after authorities said a tow truck driver was run over while attempting to repossess a vehicle.
On Wednesday, March 26, Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers responded to Cabana Circle while a man — later identified as a tow truck driver — was transported to a local hospital in non-critical condition, authorities said in a news release posted on Facebook.
The tow truck driver, per police, was attempting to repossess a 2011 Ford Fusion when a woman yelled to a man to "hurry up," as the driver was still "hooking his truck up to the vehicle."
The suspect then "backed the car up, running over the victim as he was under the vehicle," per the MPD.
Brandi Revels, 27, and Nicholas Wray, 34, have since been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident.

All this over a 2011 ford focus… :picard:

You just know some shady, ill fitted suit wearing car dealer straight got over on that person. A dealership probably named big daddy’s auto sales or some shyt. Man that’s crazy! I had to look up the story and it in fact happened this year

So the person that sold them the car was on scene. Trying to figure out was it some random person who had it repoed? What a crazy story
I just picture some sleazy muthafúcka walkin' out towards the seated customer like "great news, I got a deal done:mjgrin:"

The customer is so happy the deal is done, they don't give a damn about the terms
