Replaying TLOU2 with the PS5 patch, this game absolutely SHYTS all over RDR2

gameplay wise id give last of us the edge just because it wasnt full of mad unnecessary shyt and mechanics for the sake of being “realistic”, its close though

graphics wise both are so elite in my opinion it would be like splitting hairs to make a distinction while actually playing

story wise red dead was odee better, even without the tie ins to part 1

I think the games are pretty on par graphics wise. ND is just on another level with facial animations though. I also think ND does the finer details better but it’s a linear game so it has the advantage

I loved RDR2 overall but yeah the sluggishness of the movement was bad compared to the rest, I know they’re different genres, but I don’t understand why the movement and shooting on Max Payne 3 is hugely better than RDR2 & GTA5 when it came before them both

Like them both. I'm on my 3rd play through of lou2 though. Got to the John part of my second playthrough of rdr2 and haven't touched it since.

I loved RDR 2 even though playing it felt like clocking in for a second job. TLOU 2 couldn't really hold my attention as much as I loved the 1st one I could not get into it like the 1st even though I beat it. Horizon is probably the only PS exclusive I couldn't force myself to finish. I'm gonna try to give it another shot after I finish Mass Effect and RE: VILLage.
