Bush and Bowman were targeted by AIPAC because they dared to criticize Israel. This is a false equivalence made in bad-faith.
As far as Jasmine, Republicans will twist *anything* a Democrat says, no matter how careful or measured they're being, because bad-faith attacks are their entire playbook. Did being cautious stop them from smearing Obama as a radical? Did it stop them from calling Biden a socialist? The reality is that Crockett is calling out white grievance politics because it's real, and watering down that truth to appease people who were never going to listen is both useless and cowardly. Instead of worrying about how Republicans feel, more Democrats should take notes from her and start fighting back just as unapologetically.

They'll attack her no matter what she says. If she were quiet and cautious, they'd still find something to use against her, just like they do with every Democrat, no matter how measured their rhetoric.
Listen to yourself talking about how she carries herself. There's nothing wrong with what she's saying. The real problem is that she's direct about what she thinks, and that makes spineless, weak-willed people like you uncomfortable. Your thinking is exactly why it's so easy for bad-faith actors to shift the blame, which is how conservatives manipulate discourse in their favor.

I dont have a problem with 90% of what she says. I have a problem with some of her stale talking points that dont convince people she’s critiquing or clear missteps that she herself has to acknowledge and walk back.

Bad actors thrive because they have a willing audience, not because their targets make their job easier. Holding Black politicians to an unfair, ever-shifting standard only serves to reinforce the double standard. *I* don't think we should demand that Black people constantly prove themselves against an impossible metric, but that we need to challenge the conditions that create it in the first place.
