I'm a much bigger Nate Dogg fan but you seriously think Nate was a better singer than Frank Ocean?

Nate was the most monotone singer that i can think of right now. He hits like 2 or 3 notes when he sings.

Vocally they're both average as hell... Frank ain't all that when it comes to singing...

I don't have an opinion on Frank Ocean and I haven't heard his album, but Nate Dogg is overrated as hell. I don't know how cats gas him up when what he's best known for is singing with a monotone voice and very little vocal range. Maybe it's cause I'm from the East but I don't see anything special about him besides the fact that he had an easily recognizeable style.

lol why? Their music is miles from each other. The only thing is common is both being from the west coast, both being singers and both being black.

Besides that, there is nothing at all. Specially musically.

nate from mississippi

frank is from new orleans...:jawalrus:

lol who in the hell said this? the comparisons don't even make sense. if anything, biggavel would have been the next Nate.

and lol @ Nate not being that talented, especially comparing him to Frank who really just "talk/sings" his way though songs. Doesn't make his music any less good but come on.
