lol i stayed giving ol boy the benefit of the doubt up until that 2010 ecf series

prior to that i'd be that casual apologist for him pointing out that yea he questionable but he never had a good enough team for us to really see his worth on the big stage but that on the trash squads he's been on (toronto/NJ after Kenyon left) he's shown the ability to ball out, hit game winners and lead them into the playoffs/2nd round.

but then he finally gets on a championship contending team and is their star closer and really 2010 Orlando was the perfect team and situation for the Kobe/TMac/Vince/Wade/Pierce breed of scorer... perfect puzzle piece type shyt...

they romp their way to the ECFs.. and then with all the lights shining on him and the momentum on his side... ol boy just goes straight bytch against the celtics. shyt was just embarrassing and it culminated with him bein so shook on that big stage with the game on the line that dude was just straight bricking freethrows on some nick anderson '95 type shyt

after that, i was like yea... nothing more to see say or defend about that guy. he is what he is :manny:

Like I always say, he's one of the guys you wish DIDN'T develop a jumper because once he did....that's all he started to do and he was no longer as aggressive

Vince is arguably the most talented perimeter player ever. With supreme athleticism, hops out the world, with a damn good jumper that he could get off at any time he wanted. He should be vying with Kobe as the second greatest shooting guard ever, but after he caught all that hate for attending his graduation then missing the game winner it's like something in hm changed. Like he was afraid of the moment from that point on and just wanted to be known as the fan friendly dunker. Vince had a damn good career, maybe even HOF worthy. But he didn't strive for legendary status like Kobe and others have and that held him back from being even better than he was.
