Elite power forwards get one block a game eh? So what about Griffin? I know you talk up Griffin, so why isn't he out there being elite when he's got the height and the athleticism to make those plays.
I would not want Okafor on my team. Before the draft I did, after seeing him actually in the league there's no doubt in my mind that I'd want him. He's good at scoring in the post, but he kills the offensive flow when he does and he also turns it over a lot. He gets blocks the few times he's actually in position to make a play, but gets beat repeatedly non-stop. The only reason I'd want him over Randle is because he'd have more trade value.
Griffin has T-rex arms, his athleticism can't make up for that 8'9" standing reach, which is only half an inch less than Randle. I don't talk up Griffin, the only thing I ever say about him is he's an elite scorer and the Knicks should trade Melo for him. He's part of the reason why they've never had a top 5 defense, despite playing next to an elite shot blocker.
You'd want Okafor over him, I rest my case
