How does he have more commercial appeal when Jeezy sold more? Yea its cool Ross has had big radio singles, good mixtapes, and solid albums. But Jeezy was a movement.

He does have more commercial appeal. The stars basically aligned for Ross. You know how many crews would kill for what MMG and YMCMB has going on right now. These guys own the radio.

I'm shocked Ross can't reach the next level. What is he missing? All the talk about him being fake is irrelevant. Most people don't listen to an artist caring if they real, this is something that became a big deal around 2004. Wayne kiss man on the lips and Drake is a former child star.

I think Ross is trash, but the way he's been winning, most people expected 700 - 800k first week. Def Jam put the whole building behind him, and even jeopardized Jeezy's career on a gamble.

It don't matter how much marketing dollars Def Jam through behind Ross if the public has interest in the artist they will buy the cd or get it off I-tunes. Look how they dropped the ball with Nas album, but people still went out and supported. You can't force feed the music to the public either the people feel it or we don't.
