So it’s cool to point this out with her and it wasn’t shyt but a conversation but when nikkas point out all the shyt Drake did for Kendrick it’s a million excuses.
Act like drake didn't get his feelings hurt and act like a scorned bytch over a friendly rap battle/jab brehs. Act like this situation is the same somehow brehs

No matter how you spin it all of this is because of control and if drake knew how to let shyt go he wouldn't be fighting for his life right now. Battle rappers came forward and understood the assignment or didn't care or knew what it was but only Lupe, flat earther B.o.B. and drake the only nikkas who took that shyt to heart. Now here we are.

So what was the motive? Did Drake offer Kendrick a contract? Did Drake make any money off Kendrick? Like most these industry nikkas? U DO know Kendrick used to credit Drake for all the help he gave him. It’s his fans that try to deny it cause of their hate for a nikka they don’t know from a can of paint. nikkas don’t know either of these nikkas. Cut the fanboy shyt out for a second. Think logically. Multiple things can be true. Drake can be an a$$hole and he still could’ve helped Kendrick. Same with Rocky. While I understand why Rocky had an issue with him cause Drake was jealous of his relationship with Rih. But he did the same thing for him. Which Rocky also credited. He prolly did more for Kendrick than he did for alotta these nikkas honestly.

Drake “helped” Kendrick at a time when Kendrick was already primed to blow up. We’ve been over this before, Kendrick was going to be successful whether or not he went on that tour. He had the holy trio of West Coast legends anointing him and the full backing of his label. Now if we erase all of these FACTS and say Drake gave Kendrick a great look, which Kendrick HAS acknowledged (I never argued he didn’t) then again my question is, so what? What does that mean in the grand scheme of things? We have ample evidence to support that Drake doesn’t help ANY artist without ulterior motives of his own. He either wants to hop on your wave, fukk your girl, or keep you under his thumb. Why do you think all of these artists said “enough’s enough”. Drake wanted the Weeknd to be his forever ghostwriter and when he said “fukk that”, they had problems. Drake wanted Rhianna and when she bushed him for being a weirdo cornball and got with Asap, they had problems. Drake expected Kendrick to forever be indebted to him and when Kendrick said “Nah. I want to compete for the crown” they had problems.

So again I ask, who gives a damn WHAT Drake did for Kendrick or anybody really when it turns out the “help” comes with unrealistic expectations?

nikka it ain’t no FACT that Kendrick was gonna blow up. Section 80 was an album and it went cardboard. And he already had Dre’s backing during that time even tho they hid it then to make him appear independent. U can’t predict the future the only FACT is that Drake helped son immensely on his journey. If u put Nas in Drake’s position u would be singing a whole different tune I swear. lol. The Weeknd isn’t the same situation at all. The Weeknd was signed and had contracts involved with Drake and he broke free. That was mutual. He was providing Drake music. wtf did Kendrick provide Drake??’ Weeknd gave Drake damn near a whole album worth of shyt. Complete false equivalence.

Just for note. I was a Drake fan before I became a fan of Kendrick and I didn't even know the Club Paradise tour existed.

Even funnier, I didn't even know Kendrick was on Take Care until much later because he wasn't credited on the original album. This is what my Take Care track list looks like on my phone. This is how it originally looked like in 2011 when the album dropped. My first time relating the two together consciously is Poetic Justice.

Image spoiler due to size.

Majority of this forum and Reddit thought Kamala was winning the election. Majority of this forum is pro Kendrick...they don't represent the real world lol
Kendrick Lamar is selling a lot of records. And tickets for his shows. I know theres technically room for debate about who makes “better” music, but pretending like Kendrick Lamar isn’t an incredibly popular artist with an incredibly diverse fanbase feels just a bit delusional, right?

I didn’t make an equivalency I simply pointed out every mainstream artist that Drake has had issues with because he tried to lil bro them or keep their careers at a level lower than his simply because he gave them a look once upon a time. It’s literally a pattern. Drake not operating in good faith is part of the reason why damn near everyone of note either publicly turned on him or stayed silent while he got gutted and filleted over the course of an entire year. Something thats NEVER happened in the history of mainstream rap battles. Even Meek had people backing and rooting for him when it was clear he didn’t have the juice against Drake.

It’s funny you mention Nas. Nas took 50 Cent on tour when 50 was REALLY a nobody and never asked for anything in return. And he and 50 STILL ended up having problems because 50 was mad that Nas didn’t give him a heads up about replacing him on the J-Lo remix.

The point is that it doesn’t matter what you do for people, if you follow it up with doing something foul (or perceived as foul) or you’re intentions are to weaponize your “generosity” to keep that person underneath you, then nikkas ain’t just gonna be cool with it.

It's sad how far @spliz has fallen, now pretending like Drake don't use other artists for clout, credibility in regional locations, sharking regional slang, etc.. etc.. When Kendrick destroyed Drake it really broke this guy's mental.

You gotta understand. Kendrick made a lot of these haters look dumb as fukk. Plenty of posters were talking big shyt before the battle popped off. That Cole was gonna destroy Kendrick. That Aubrey had more "bars" than Kendrick. That Kendrick wasn't battle tested. And then Cole ran away like a coward and Kendrick put Aubrey's bodybag in a bodybag.

Now all of these haters gotta find a new angle cause Kendrick made them all look like some fukkin idiots. Their pride won't allow them to admit they were wrong and that they don't understand lyricism like they believed. Now all they have left is "b b but Aubrey helped Kendrick back in the day, Kendrick is an ungrateful meanie!!!"😡

Grown ass men acting like some ho's:dead:....so Aubrey bringing Kendrick on a random tour nobody remembers gives him the right to throw subliminals for 12 years without repercussion. fukk outta here with that gay shyt:hhh:.....anybody who would let that shyt slide is a p*ssy. Aubrey got exactly what he was asking for.

Stop tagging me in this fukk shyt. I didn’t fall anywhere I always been in this type of time. I don’t like the corporate industry bullshyt and I never did. No matter how much I liked the artist. U can find the same arguments for this I’ve used AGAINST Drake.

What was corporate about the beef from Kendrick's end? He did zero interviews, zero promotion, zero posts/stories on social media, never talked to YouTubers or streamers or anything like that, etc.

All Kendrick did was drop a handful of tracks over the span of a week and never uttered a word otherwise. All that other shyt? That's what Drake did..
