I can’t imagine any other scenario and I don’t care if you think Pedro was justified it’s irrelevant to the argument, you’re telling me if Gary Sheffield slammed Johnny pesky to the ground he wouldn’t have immediately been ejected and probably calls to kick him out the league?

Or remove the yankee , brewers vs Phillies , one of the players slams an 80 year old to the ground, he wouldn’t immediately become the biggest pariah In sports ?

But because everyone hates the Yankees it was basically applauded never mind no punishment or backlash

It was an aikido move. He used the force the old man was coming at him with to take control and guide him to the ground. That was the same force he was seeking to hit Pedro with

I was there that night and I was interviewed by the news .. I didn't even see the game and didn't know what happened but my clip aired on local Boston news. I was 11

Are we just remembering random shyt in here?:gucci:

Y'all remember when the media got mad at Kellen Winslow Jr. for saying "I'm a soldier" in a sport that routinely uses military jargon and where the media calls players "warriors" or refers to hard games as "battles"? And then he completely crashed out and started raping people left and right?:damn:

Remember when Don Imus called the Rutgers woman's basketball team "nappy headed hoes"?:pacspit:

Remember that time the Minnesota Vikings chartered a "love" boat on Lake Minnetonka and the lake had to be re-purified afterwards? :scust:

Y'all remember Manti Te'o and his girlfriend that died, but the only problem is she never existed?:mjlit:

I'm a Yankees fan.
I saw it live.
And I thought Don Zimmer deserved that shyt.

You go out there attacking a player, you get what you deserve.

Also, Don Zimmer was a Red Sox manager once so it was cool to see him on both sides of the rivalry.
