Lol@ NY dudes talking shyt. Jesus, that song is for hoes.:mindblown:

Dudes sitting up in their nasty ass project slum apartment, eating syrup sandwiches in a 50 Cent wifebeater and jeans with one pant leg rolled up, writing angry missives about twenty year old Pac songs.

Damn you mad as shyt breh why you arguing over a track you don't even fukking play. Corny ass shyt York what's ya phone number all hard and shyt bytches don't wanna hear that.

The song itself isn't terrible, but why the fukk is the phone call longer than the actual song and why the fukk is it even on there in the first place? :dahell:

shyt is just all over the place

Yeah, I thought this song was pretty much seen as garbage across the board. Even some Pac fans I know don't rock with this track. "Ratha Be Ya nikka" is a way better "for the bytches" song than this.

never thought the song was bad :manny:
Me either. Tight old school beat and lyrics.

You gotta understand. Most of the dudes on this board don't get p*ssy or scared to talk to women so they don't understand the song.

I remember bumping this song at BCR. Told the chick to do what the song say and she did:pachaha:

I love Pac, but this is quite possibly one of the worst songs ever made in any genre. I could never really make it through the 1st verse. I didn't pick up on it then and I still don't hear a Big/Bad Boy influence in this. Just cause Puff and Bad Boy were heavy into sampling doesn't mean anyone using a sample automatically sounds like or was influenced by them. Sampling has been a large part of hip-hop since the beginning.

i wouldn't go as far to say its the worst anything but the track/sample just wasn't meant to be rapped on. And its damn near impossible to take a Prince track and do a better job with it. I can see what the producer of Whats Ya Phone # was trying to do with the song but it doesnt fit the rest of the album and if they were taking the "lazy" route, why not simply pick another sample. This song sounds like what "Toss It Up" eventually became.

Ignore the point of your thread, brehs.

Act like Pac didn't have club bangers before you even knew who Biggie was, brehs.

Say Pac tried to make a "radio banger" that wasn't released as a single, brehs.

Say Biggie doesn't have a wack-ass track with a soul sample when he made "Another", "Going Back To Cali", and "I Love The Dough"
with his dying breaths, brehs.
I love The Dough and Going back To Cali aren't wack. Going back to Cali is funk not soul.
