This thread reminds me of when I told my college roommate back in 97 or 98 that Ca$h Money was going to be bigger than No Limit. This dude refused to see what I saw. A copycat con man and hustler trying to steal credit from the people he was biting wouldn't outlast the originators of “Bout It” etc.

Hurts my heart to find out P was pretty much all "CAP" from album sales to net worth to his son's basketball prowess. It was all a lie. When I say I was a huge No Limit Stan I mean I bought the whole slate of releases from 96-99, even when the production hit a notable drop off in late 98 through 99 I bought it all. Never bought the clothes or had a fake chain like some ppl I knew then, but I was all in.
See what good marketing can do? I hope you learned from this and applied it in your life :russ:

The NBA is the hardest sports league to get into, its the best of the best players, it aint no shame that you cant make it pro, tons of people are good enough to play in euro league and in china, the NBA is just another level

Told this before but

Master P tried to finesse everyone into thinking HE was an NBA prospect

He played for a local San Diego team in 1999, like a way down division of the NBA, and I went to the game with my Dad when I was like 13, and that new P album was out

He was a horrible ball player. He was shooting three's from half court, and didn't play defense lol and performed Step To Dis at half time LOL

it was hilarious
