MK is regarded as one of the better video game movies of all time
and SF is regarded as Meh to the general public
Both movies are regarded as trash. But still generally loved by the public.
Fun Fact, Johnny Cage was based on Jean Claude Van Dam and originally mortal kombat was gonna be a video game based on him similiar to Tysons Punch out. But the Deal fell through and became mortal Kombat. I found that interesting because he later starred in Street Fighter. One of MK's biggest competitors.

SF is a great action comedy/parody. It's a straight parody of 90s action movies but that's clearly not what anyone wanted. Raul is awesome in it and is clearly committed to every line. Bisonopolis
