I haven't seen Russ have a stretch like this where he's so actively trying to get others involved. He's just completely dominating the game. When he plays like that, he is better than KD because he does so much more than just score. I hope he keeps it up because it's hard to see anyone beating them if he does.

Ppl are quick to forget what KD did last year when Russell was hurt:heh:. Russell is playing better than anyone in the league right now, but once KD is healthy he's the best player In the league

ADHD generation man he's playing at a high clip no doubt...but let's stop the foolishness....

So nikkas forgot about Durant run just 13 months ago

With Russell Westbrook out, Durant has taken it upon himself to carry the Thunder, and his performance in the month of January has been stuff of legend. In 11 games this month, Durant is averaging 37.0 points, 5.9 assists and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 52.2 percent overall and 39.2 percent from three. He has three 40-point games, a 50-point game and has been under 30 points just twice.

Durant has scored 30 points in eight straight games, averaging 39.3 points over that stretch. It's the second-longest such streak of his career, as he reached 30 points in nine consecutive games in 2010. However, that was spread out over two seasons.

Durant's numbers become historic when you narrow them down to the last three games. With his monster effort against the Blazers, Durant became the first player in NBA history to have three straight games with 30 or more points while shooting at least 66 percent overall and at least 55 percent from three. A handful of players, including Kevin Love, have reached those numbers two games in a row, but Durant is now the only one to do it in three consecutive games.

1) Wiggins isn't better than Paul George or even close to him

2) Westbrook wasn't better than KD last season and that doesn't change b/c of a streak of games (WB is better this season but isn't the better player).

where u nikkas now?

29.5 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 10.1 APG since Feb. 2. triple double every night. leading the team without durant.

its funny how every UNPOPULAR opinion I had about the NBA (minus Kobe/Lakers success :sadbron:) has turned out to be true. I said Kevin Love was a fraud and his stats meant nothing. I've been vindicited on that front. I said Russell Westbrook was better than KD and he's showing that right now. I said Andrew Wiggins would make the Cavs regret the trade and he'd be as good at the end of his rookie season as Paul George was last year and thats beginning to happen (see the game against James Harden).

you nikkas should just call me nostradamus cause I'm obviously the most astute basketball mind on this site.
I also remember you saying that Melo is better than Durant.
How that turned out? :sas2:
