He wasn't that bad IMO he just peaked reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally early

Looking at that wiki page 02-04 were his best years as a solo producer then it's downhill from there :huhldup:

he is a terrible producer

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmVCUOzD5QA]The Game ft. Eminem - We Ain't [The Documentary] - YouTube[/ame]

that shyt sounds like poor-man impersonation of half-assed Erik Sermon beats from 1994. Thankfully real producers contributed a bunch of great production to the album.

Beat for Ghost is trash with cheesy drums and near exact-same progression (keys, dark bass) as most of Runnin.

Running is basically a looped up Edgar Winter chorus

Jeff Bass produced most of the Eminem singles like someone a few pages back noted that people keep linking as evidence of his talent.

Kanye also called Swizz Beatz the GOAT

I've never heard any other producer ever talk glowingly about Eminem's production.

Em was pretty hit or miss when it came to beats. Some of his beats are some bangers and some are some duds and repetitive as hell. I didn't mind him producing unlike i lot of people i know.

he produced almost all of slim shady lp and marshall mathers lp.... not bad :ehh:
It was the bass brothers who did most of it, he did start producing on Eminem Show though.. I'd assume that Mr. Porter and other cats did most of it though he might've been in the studio telling cats how he wanted it to sound like a "real producer" though.

Just look at

9. "Drips" (featuring Obie Trice) Mathers, Obie Trice, Denaun Porter, Bass Eminem

eminem is the only one credited as produced but Mr. Porter and one of the bass brothers are "writers" :laugh:.

If we ignore the fact that the bass brothers and Mr. Porter were on every joint he had a lot of dope beats. Beats perfectly made for his style.
Eminem spits the best over "on the low" beats, it shouldn't be a lot of sounds and hsit like that. Him over Kanye beats would probably be meh. But any top notch lyricist over Eminem beats is almost a given classic like the 3 joints Jay did (8 mile, Renegade and Moment of Clarity), The Cross by Nas..
