Red & Blue Lodges
by Don Falconer
Brethren,

Comprehensive answers to the reasons for calling the Craft and the Chapter blue and red lodges respectively are give in my paper entitled "The Symbolism of Colours" - which is Chapter 14 in the revised edition of my book. I will begin posting this paper during the coming week. The following extracts taken from different sections of the chapter will give you a lead, but you will have to read the whole chapter to get the full picture. The symbolism of a wide range of colours from ancient times to the present is discussed at length. In addition to the following, you will read elsewhere in the chapter that red is an ancient symbol of fervency and zeal, which is one of the core teachings of the Royal Arch and its associated degrees.

Blue is the fundamental colour of ancient, free and accepted masonry, or that branch of speculative freemasonry commonly called craft freemasonry and meeting in what are known as blue lodges. Blue is the fundamental colour because, as a symbol of universal friendship and benevolence, it is intended to remind every brother that in his breast these virtues should be equally extensive. The degrees of craft freemasonry are the basis of speculative freemasonry and are a prerequisite for membership of all branches of freemasonry. Capitular freemasonry is an extension of craft freemasonry and relates to the rebuilding of the temple and symbolically to the rebuilding of life. It is typified by the colour red and meets in Royal Arch Chapters, commonly called red lodges.

Although an order or a series of degrees in freemasonry may have one or more characteristic colours, the individual degrees within the order or series may use other colours as specific symbols, typical of that degree. For example, although blue is the characteristic colour of speculative craft freemasonry, the typical colour appropriate to the first degree, or Entered Apprentice, is white emblematic of purity, innocence and initiation. Blue is the typical colour of the second degree, or Fellow of the Craft, because it is emblematic of the intellectual knowledge and practical skill of the craftsman and his faithfulness to the fraternity. Lastly, green is the typical colour of the third or sublime degree of a Master Mason, alluding to his discovery of the characteristics of divine truth, his belief in the immortality of the soul and his hope of a resurrection.

An example of several colours being used in combination is to be found among the degrees of the Royal Arch Chapter, for which the characteristic colour is red, from which is derived the expression "Red Masonry" to distinguish it from the craft which is commonly referred to as "Blue Masonry".

didnt pimp c have an interview saying a lot of similar stuff too?

not really.

pimp c's interview was more general, stating stuff that was already common knowledge.

I don't care but I dont like frauds and portraying something your not. I also am not with the do gay shyt and fukk shyt to get ahead which every rapper has to do. Puff prolly got turned out by Andre Harrell and then bent over for Clive Davis for that bad boy/arista deal. all these dudes enter the industry and have handlers who turn them out and then they do it to the next guy and it's an endless cycle. This doesn't only happen in Hip Hop tho thats the thing this happens in every industry.

:wtf: @ the bolded.

:to: not andre harrell.

Certz Up ..... Hoezzzz down .....
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has ordered Brooklyn prosecutors not to seek the death penalty after all against rap star Lil' Kim's murderous, and mentally ill, ex-boyfriend Damion (World) Hardy.

The feds disclosed the decision in court Thursday with Hardy, 39, participating by videoconference from a prison hospital in Missouri, where he is being forcibly medicated with powerful antipsychotic meds to restore him to mental competency.

No reason was given for the flip-flop, but Hardy's schizophrenia and psychosis have been an issue since he was indicted a decade ago for six murders while running a violent drug crew in Bed-Stuy called Cash Money Brothers. He was facing death by lethal injection for ordering the rubout of rival Ivery Davis outside a Manhattan nightclub in 2000. The feds also dropped the death penalty against Hardy's co-defendant Aaron Granton.

Then-Attorney General Michael Mukasey authorized the death penalty in 2007.

Assistant U.S. Attorney James Loonam said Thursday Hardy’s dosage of Haloperidol has been increased and he has “responded well to the medication” although he’s not yet at the stage where he is fit to stand trial.

Hardy once lived in a New Jersey mansion with Lil' Kim, and the lovebirds were reportedly engaged. But he suffered a mental breakdown in 2004 on a pilgrimage to the Middle East and began referring to himself as a Messiah and legally changed his name to Isa Ibn Jibril.

Sitting quietly with his hands folded on a table, Hardy did utter several outbursts that indicated he still has a way to go on the road to mental health.

“Block, I’m ready to plead to something low!” he shouted to Federal Judge Frederic Block. “What about the medication? I wasn’t supposed to be medicated this long. If you don’t clarify it, I’ll keep getting
medicated!”

The judge assured him that defense lawyers are monitoring the issue.

Hardy remains in isolation at the jail, though, because he has a long history of attacking guards and inmates.

The N.O
Why would you try to downplay the power of freemasonry based off of rituals and low level activities that you know about? I agree, the rituals are stupid but that doesn't mean they don't have power. If anything it goes to show that they exercise more power over the mayor than your vote does!

Most cops are masons and most are corrupt. You talk about them killing us like it's nothing but they been doing it for years unchecked. Because their blue wall of silence aka oath to the blue lodge won't allow them to tell on their fellow master masons because they know if they do there is a penalty for breaking their masonic oath. That penalty is death and usually a very painful one. They not worried about the crime of perjury, they worried about their own fellow masonic cops killing them or throwing them in the trunk.

The court room is set up like a masonic lodge; both use the gavels and raise their arms to the square and place their hands on the bible and swear. If you sue the cops for killing your son and the cops is a mason (usually) and so is the judge (usually), who you think gon win? That's not power to you?

this is the truth, trust me i was thinking of becoming a mason and one of the guys i did security with is one he told me about all you have to do is stand a certain way, hand gestures, etc he told me thats how a lot of cops and other people beat charges. He also told me thats how he keeps beating his charges
