Looks like Black Rob, Yung Joc, and Gorilla Zoe all got second albums too

The latter two were Block Ent. artists though, with Bad Boy and Atlantic in some co-venture type of thing

That leaves Loon, G. Dep, Craig Mack, Shyne, and the LOX with one album on Bad Boy

that's why i said you got to have a STRONG COSIGNER or "BOSS" to deal with PUFF....

alot of those cats like Shyne, G. Dep and others who "JACKED" by Puff....didn't have proper representation that had thier best intrest at hand..

where as Block Ent. artists had Block himself who always been a Boss..he use to manage the Outlaws and spent years working under Tony Draper at Suave House.......

he knows how to deal with cats like Puff.... :leostare:

Block was a good friend of Meech.....

so when Puff subcontracted Jeezy to the Block imprint , it was a perfect fit also it was a benifit to jeezy who was already locked into a deal with Def Jam...

"got two record deals , that's why i'm driving this porsche..." -jeezy

thier was no way Block or Diddy ever was gonna cross Meech at that time 03-04 who was litearlly bossed up...and had hoped to capitilize on the success of Jeezy

as for the rest of Boyz N Da Hood , Zoe as well as Joc they had the misfortune of having Block lock them into 360 deals , which stunted any growth business wise for them....Jody Breeze was able to wiggle his way out of the situation, simply because he had the leverage of being a "ghostwriter" for a few Bad Boy and other industry cats.....so with the benifit of having a substantial amount of publishing , he made out okay.

but overall BAD BOY SOUTH was a bad concept from the start, simply because Diddy didn't allow Block and the other personalties thier own identity SEPERATE from the BAD BOY BRAND......

Unlike YMCMB which was able to succeed by utilizing fresh unique talent and exploiting thier talents to the fullest...BAD BOY SOUTH didn't have the full support of DIDDY himself , who was going thru further distribution situations himself as usual...:manny:

:mjpls: i don't get a check from Diddy..so therefore it isn't a cosign

and if you COMPREHENDED my post, you would have seen me state "bad boy south was a BAD CONCEPT from start"....i basically said DIDDY was wrong....

I was just clarifying why dumb a$$ artists that your monkey a$$ might support NEED TO LEARN TO READ and NETWORK with third party arbitrators whom can help navigate them thru important business decisions such as signing a record deal.

but what good is this info to you....broke n1ccas like yourself only express AGITATION instead of ADULATION for someone trying to shed light on the subject. :russ:

Artists get fuvked by puff cuz they allowed themselves too. Nobody put a gun to their head and forced them to sign a contract. They did it out of their own free will. They didn't read the fine print it's their own fault.
