I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I remember thinking to myself "Singer passed on X-3 to do this film? :beli:" And before anyone points it out - yes - I know he wanted to do X3, right after he did Superman, but Fox was impatient and told him to skedaddle. Ratner directed X3 which was meh and Singer directed the most boring Superman movie of all time. Everyone lost in 2006.

Shouldn't have tried to play God if he didn't want to get humbled

It was a semi continuation of the Donner films. Remember when he revealed his identity to Lois and they pretty much had sex in the Fortress of Solitude when he made himself human? Then he gave her the super kiss to make her forget. So yeah......I'm just being mean, but it made Superman look bad.

It's entirely possible to dislike both movies for fukking up Superman by going too far to one extreme or the other. It's possible to make Superman not a bytch while not having him destroy peoples livelihood over a bar fight.

:yeshrug: Well one thing that has been established about Superman in both movie universes, boy scout or not, don't step to him at a bar cause he ain't letting that shyt slide. At least in MOS it was somewhat in the moment. In the Donner version he left, went and saved the world, and came back looking for dude after he got his powers to let him know whats up.

I will never understand what Bryan singer was trying to achieve with this I don't even remember much if any action set pieces or how the dude responsible for X-2 could do this with the most iconic superhero there is. Is superman really that hard to make a movie for? :why:Take away donner and it's just been a mess

They need the people that actually write the comics to write/produce the movie. That's the reason why Marvel's shyt took off. The people that actually understand the characters are involved. Meanwhile DC got people who don't even like comics overseeing their movies.......that shyt with Kevin Smith writing Superman where the producer didn't even want Supes to fly is a micro chasm of the whole way they handled movies before Iron Man set it off.

Destroyed his livelihood :dahell:

He just wrecked his fukking truck:mjlol:

A company truck... That had insurance. Dude was also harassing the waitress, tried to assault breh, and was being an overall fakkit

fukk his truck, I respected Clark more afterwards. He could've punched his whole face in if he actually didn't give a fukk:dahell:

You say it was a company truck, I don't know if it was or not but I'll take your word for it. That means Clark destroyed property that didn't
even belong to the guy being a dikk.
Now this guy has to explain to his boss that he can't make a delivery because his truck was destroyed in a way he can't explain. You mentioned insurance, given the way they try to avoid paying for anything not written in the policy, I doubt they would pay for that unexplained event. If ithey wrote it off as a drunk driving incident, since he was outside a bar and had been drinking, he'd be fired at minimum if he didn't lose his license. I'd say his livelihood would be destroyed if he could no longer drive.

The guy was harassing the waitress and if Clark felt he had to step in he could have stopped the guy without hurting him. Walking out and fukking up the truck doesn't stop the guy from harassing her in the moment, hell since he doesn't know what happened to his truck or why it doesn't stop him in the future either.

Clark could have easily stood up to the guy and let him know he didn't want those problems without seriously hurting him or revealing his powers.

Nope, he should have handled like Superman did in the 80's :troll:

Search the globe for a trucker who beat him when everything was fair

Let the trucker break his hand on his chest cause he got his powers back

Mess up the owners chair

Knock people's food to ground so the chef has to remake it

Break the owner's pin ball machine

Fly away like nothing happened

It most likely did belong to a company

And regardless it's still insuranced... Like most 18-wheelers are.

And so what if this guy has to explain shyt to his boss. Wtf does that got to do with shyt?

That's like the server having to explain to his manager why the fukking restaurant got destroyed... IN ANY SUPERHERO MOVIE.

Who gives a fukk... Like I said dude could've had his head punched in.. Literally

And he could've easily stood up.. Isn't that what the fukk he did?

Did dude not try to get physical, trying to escalate an altercation??? But supes keeps his cool and doesn't try to touch dude since it would expose his power and most likely kill the fakkit

That idiot isn't gonna lose his "livelihood" over his truck getting destroyed. If that's the argument you Superman purists/MOS haters is trying to use them a lot more people have lost their "livelihoods" in these movies as well.

Superman fanboys are just :scust:

Movie showed him struggling to become the eventual boring Superman.. Actually showing that he has personal conflict as well, something relatable, and you nikkas bytch about it
