Shawn did a lot of carrying given Hogan’s age and his knees/back/hip, but the match wasn’t bad. All the overselling completely overshadowed all that. There’s at least 2-3 more gifs from that match

I'm surprised they put as much effort into this as they did. I wasn't watching SD at the time (just Raw), so I didn't realize they had so much lead time going into the Rumble. Dude looked like he got an Austin pop his first night back.


He had some good garbage matches in WWECW and that match they mentioned against Double J (I think it was on WWF Action Zone) I remember being pretty good. That's about it. He was average at best for most of his career.

I remember being at one of their shows around that time and the arena went nuts when Bob Holly came out. It was in Missouri so not too shocking considering the crowd but shyt fukked me up.
