The issue on the Eagles is Playcalling and the line. No way the rookie plays with the Giants coming in.

thats the right answer... even though his horrible ass coaching/play calling/injured o-line has Vick in this position... Vicks been playing pretty bad for the most part and is showing he has 0 pocket presence at all... if shyt doesnt change vs the Giants i say put Nick Foles in for Week 5

What QB gets hit that much and goes on to have a great season or even an injury free season. All you hear is you gotta protect the QB, but the O line gotta give you time or at least establish a running game to keep a defense honest.

Basically Reid is going to Ride and Die with Vick. He choose to keep Vick over Mcnabb, it's his guy. The media wants there to be controvery but there isn't. The Rookie won't get any playing time barring an injury from Vick. Media loves to try to start something that not there. Where are the stories about Peyton getting benched? It's not like he's been playing that great. Vick does need to improve but there is no story here.

Throwing across his shoulder into the middle of the field and throwing side-arm going out of bounds into double coverage (into the end zone) can't be blamed on Reid. Andy didn't force him make those terrible throws. The Kerry Rhodes hit at the end of the half that caused the fumble returned for a TD didn't even come from his blind side.

I'm done with both of them, but if I had to pick one of them to go, it's Vick. At least Reid's won a playoff game in the last 5 years.

I think it's what you have is a qb whose confidence is shot, it happens all the time. Vick even shows it in his interviews that his confidence is fading. Most coaches in that instance would go back to the drawing board and maybe change the blocking schemes or even lean on the run some and shorten the passing game to minimize qb hits and get some easy completions to boost confidence. I havent seen any of that from the last couple of games I watched even going back to last year.

This is what pisses me off about Eagles fans. These are the same morons that ran Donovan out of town and thought that Corn On the Kolb was gonna be the savior for that team. When he got traded, the fans reluctantly got behind Vick(pause) and he produced. If you read the first post, Vick's "decision-making" is being blamed for the HITS.... I guess you cosign that. It's not the 59 passing plays huh ...

Like I said, the play-calling effects the coverage. Against a defence that knows you're gonna pass all game there's not many good throws to be made.

But I see you - when Philly won a playoff game, Fatman won it. When they lose, Vick lost it.

- McNabb was done when he left and done when he got to Washington. Check the numbers.
- The Eagles held the Cardinals to 20 points. And that's with losing the possession battle.
- Vick's always thrown dangerous passes since he got here. The only difference is that they're getting picked off now.

Does McCoy need the ball more? Of course. But that doesn't change the fact that Vick is turning the ball over way too much.
