I saw the interview with La La Anthony saying that she auditioned for a role for Barbershop 3 but she lost the role to someone else... I'm assuming now the role went to NickiNew News

At this point, answering, “Who isn’t going to be in Barbershop 3?” might be an easier task than to follow all the casting. But we have a new employee in the beauty shop: Barbie.
Rapper Nicki Minaj has joined the cast of the Ice Cube-led film, EW has confirmed. Variety first reported her addition. Minaj will play a hairdresser named Draya, presumably an employee under Regina Hall’s character. It’s the second live-action role for Minaj, who was in 2014’s The Other Woman. Her feature film debut came as a voice in Ice Age: Continental Drift as a snotty teenage mammoth who followed Drake’s wooly counterpart along. No word yet if Draya will exclaim, “I’M A MOTHERF—ING BARBER” during the film.

great comedic actress wonder who else gon be in it besides Cube and Cedric...Cube need to quit playing and do something with Mike Epps again,they last Friday movie,All About THe Benjamins and Janky promoters was all funny as hell to me and they chemistry is undeniable....I don't care how much money Ride Along made,that shyt would've been funnier with Cube and Mike....if yall aint making another Friday might as well get him in this if you can...Mike Epps and Regina Hall would probably be dope to see on screen together too
