Reggae became CAC music. Are the same happening to Hip Hop music?

As a dancehall fan this has been apparent for years. Germany's biggest selling act is a guy named Gentleman who does reggae.
How these fakkits ended up fukking with Black consciousness music is incredibly foul.
Cacs generally suffer from great bouts of boredom and will leave nothing alone. Nothing is off limits or sacred to these bloodsucking parasites. They love to talk about Bob Marley having a cac father, and as great an artist as he was he became huge because the British pushed his music hard because of his father, whereas Bunny Wailer who was the lead infact got little love. cacs support their own. But good thing is that most reggae is still militant to some degree and is the only place you can find Black Power messages in music.

One thing that I like about reggae/dancehall is that if you are good enough, show your respect and pay your dues, you will be generally accepted into the reggae fraternity.

It started with Dominic from the UK, who was talented enough to be accepted by the likes of Nicodemus and Supercat. He had no problem hanging with real Jamaican badman, but that's because he really could dj.

Fast forward to recent and the biggest tune I have heard from a whiteboy is "Come Around" by Collie Buds. Almost every sound has cut him on dubplate.

Yes, these guys have had some resistance, but they have moreso been accepted due to their talent.

I don't know about Marley getting big because he was half white, but I know that his message is what makes his music universal and everlasting. He was more talented than Bunny Wailer.

Uhhh NO :comeon:

The.predominant artists in CONTEMPORARY REGGAE.are still BLACK

MAVADO...POPCAAN...are just a few examples

those white artists you mentioned are only popular in hybrid markets and genres

And are still considered novelties

just like the SOUMDSYSTEMS whixh are the HEARTBEAT of reggae

although we got german sounds and japenese sounds like MIGHTY CROWN

for the most part BLACK OWNED SOUNDSYSTEMS with BLACK SELRCTORS still dominate worldwide

the closest Reggae came to having a "EMINEM" was the German deejay GENTLEMAN

but as you can see his status wasnt globally stellar

and Snow never reached the heights that one can assume

no no no ..no IGGY AZALEA fukkery gwan here :obama:

and thats because REGGAE is STILL THE VOICE.OF THE UNDERCLASS AND THE ANTI ESTABLISHMENT

consciousness is still respected in REGGAE

UNLIKE RAP MUSIC WHICH HAS SOLD ITS SOUL

and only gets turned up for a CHECK :russ:

Judging by the coli, you would think it is a sin to suggest putting a message in your music.

:salute: good to see somebody acknowledge DOMINIC the original white toaster....

yeah but one reason why whites like DOMINIC are more accepted in Reggae as oppossed to whites in Rap

is that the whites in reggae such as Dominic and David Rodigan ARE NOT MARKETING SCHEMES

they are willing to be amongst the poor people and sufferers...dons and common folk who patronize the dancehalla

Thats why SNOW caught so much hell at first...because HE HAD A MAJOR RECORD DEAL AND MTV COSIGNING HIM before he even cut his first dub for a respected jamaican soundsystem

ITS ABOUT EARNING YOUR STRIPES

Dominic went to JAIL in jamaica!!..for herb hustling...and stayed there till the area don GEORGE PHANG got him up outta there cause he didnt want him wasting his talents

he speaks about that and his associations with Fadda Zeeks and the Spangler Posse and the PNP and the Black Rosrs Crew

http://www.ricenpeas.com/docs/dominic.html

so its about relationships and always staying comnected to the poor people inna di ghetto worldwide from Tivoli Garden to Brixton

same way with Rodigan..this old whiteman could have stayed.safe and rich in england just exploiting reggae

but when he decided to create his soundsystem and get in the CLASH BUSINESS with hardcore ghetto soundsystems like KILLAMANJARO...METROMEDIA..
and KING ADDIES he gained maximum respect :salute:

thats the problem with rap is too many of these white rappers are MARKETING SCHEMES or just use RAP as.a tool to exploit.....

REAL RUB A DUB REGGAE.MUSIC CAN NEVER BE IMITATED OR EXPLOITED!

Prolific post SKJ. Real recognize real, and Dominic was def not about exploiting the culture.

Always good to hear a new story. Didn't know he went jail in JA.

And don't forget Rodigan vs Barry G. That is where he began.

My only problem with Rodigan is that when he comes to my country, the white folk come out in droves. They think he is THE King of Dancehall without even thinking of checking for Jaro, Addies, Saxon, etc. They only support him, not dancehall. However, that has nothing to do with him personally, it just irritates me.

Yeah that is sad... i notice i see alot of white commentators and supporters on his youtube clips

yet they are no where ti be found on other soundsystem clips

reminds me of the white chick i worked with at a job back in the day

who said...."She DONT LIKE RAP MUSIC..BUT SHE LOVES EMINEM"

:snoop:
