Can someone explain to me how Obama is losing FL with all those Jews, transplant NY ppl, and Latinos down there?

Outside of south Florida and the Orlando and Tampa/St. Petersburg metro areas, FL is basically redneck. Most of the latinos are Cubans, who mostly vote Republican.

So you're saying you're going to vote Republican?

Cubans still on that bullshyt? I heard its more and more ricans, Columbians, central americans ,etc going to that state. I thought they would have tipped the scales similar to states like NV, NM, along with the Jews, blacks, etc

Basically, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans tend to vote Democratic, Cubans tend to vote Republican. I think they tend to be anti-Communist because of Castro or whatever. :yeshrug:

Obama won the latino vote in Florida in 2008 (he was the first democrat to do so).
The reason: There are more mexicans and puerto ricans in Florida than Cubans now. Plus, young cubans are more inclined to vote democratic than their parents.

Has anyone been watching the analysis of this debate?

Obama clearly won this debate, but the narrative that i have seen coming from it shows that many people have embraced Romney as someone who they can see as president.

Colorado is now a lean Romney state and Ohio is trending, this looks like it will be a landslide for Mittens.

Colorado isn't a "lean Romney" state it's a tossup. Nate Silver gives Obama a 51.8% chance of winning it.

But it doesn't really matter. Obama will win Ohio and thus the election. NS gives Obama a 72% chance of taking Ohio. As long Obama wins Ohio, he can lose basically every other swing state (NH, CO, VA, FL, NV) and still win the election.

It's likely voters in FL that they are polling

In Register voters Obama is winning

Pollster don't think obama voters will show up

Remember obama won states by 5 more points then pollster thought

True, he has a tiny advantage on the now cast for Colorado (50.8%) but he also has a 74.2% chance in OH.

Like I said, unless Romney somehow takes Ohio it doesn't matter. Even if you're highly optimistic about Romney and give him VA, CO, IA, and NH (all of which are tossups, with IA and NH leaning Obama), Obama STILL wins as long as he gets OH.
