How does Logan look in 4k
How does Logan look in 4k
i was talking more about 4k vs 2k digital intermediate when it comes to 4k but yeah the disc is better. streaming will never get you the same full 4k until (maybe) when the tech move to 5g(but that come with high chance of cancer )i have, revenant, starahip troopers, mi, i have black panther and john wick 2 but it's on bluray.
i don't really care if it's streaming or not, i buy the discs and use the codes on movies anywhere.

but here some more:
Jurassic World
The Dark Knight Rises
Logan
Oblivion
Mad Max: Fury Road
The Dark Tower
Pacific Rim
Blade Runner 2049
Coco
i got Blade Runner 2048 in 4k and it just kinda looks better than the 1080p bluray
theres definitely a difference when they're side by side but imo the huge leap we were hoping for isn't there for me atleast.....looks sharper and 1080p looks softer but if u don't have them side by side tor reference u really wouldn't notice because the 1080p looks nice also
maybe when 24k resolution becomes a thing
For high-resolution video and TV, 4K has pretty much become the default, but not for long. At IFA in 2018 we even saw companies talking about 8K, and Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK, has promised to film and broadcast the 2020 olympics in 8K
With all these pixels, you might be surprised to learn that most movies and TV shows are still edited at a measly 2K, even for big budget extravaganzas like Aquaman or Avengers. Often, that shiny Blu Ray you bought or the 4K HDR stream you’re about to watch was actually artificially upscaled from normal dumb HD. So what’s going on?
worst looking so far is probably Inception, it honestly looks just like the Bluray version to me.
NOLAN GOT OVER ON US WITH HIS 4K COLLECTION...
AS I SAID EARLIER IN THIS THREAD
THAT DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY WAS 1080P
OUTSIDE OF THE SCENES THAT WERE SHOT IN IMAX
i started to double dip on the dark knight trilogy but i rewatched it on this new tv i got and i honestly can't imagine it looking much better even in 4k.
THE IMAX SCENES LOOK AMAZING AND
REALLY PUSHES 4K TO ITS LIMITS.
THERE ARE NO IMAX SCENES IN BATMAN BEGINS SO THERES NOTHING SPECTATCULAR ABOUT IT.
THERES ONLY 6 IMAX SCENES IN TDK
AND THEY REALLY STAND OUT.
THERES EVEN MORE IN TDKR
THEY ONLY TAKE PLACE DURING THE ACTION SEQUENCES.
Best looking 4k movie in my collection so far is The Martian worst looking so far is probably Inception, it honestly looks just like the Bluray version to me.
