Yeah.. I think Evan Turner signed a 10 million dollar deal with Li-Ning..That's more cake than his whole rookie contract...

It doesn't matter if nobody in America ever wears them, they have 100 million customers..

When wall came out Nike only offered him a standard deal with no signature shoe promises....in other words he would have just gotten free nikes....while reebok offered 25 million to him so he went over there, If your not :troll:, KD, or :childplease: Nike Basketball dont care about you....thats why Blake Griffin and :youngsabo: signed with :mjpls:

Nike almost signed Lillard though, then adidas scooped him up along with most the rookie class. I bet they regret that now.

I just hate how picky nike is.....you never know the player wall can become.

But doesn't the tweet from RBK state the exact opposite of the thread title?

:wtf:

Who knows what is really going on? Heres an official statement:

“John is a tremendous player and person, and has been a great representative of the Reebok brand. We wish him all the best. He is in good hands with adidas. Basketball remains an important category for Reebok. We have a long and very successful heritage in the sport, which provides us with a unique point of view and place in the category. In the near future, we will announce new basketball assets, to join our current roster, who we feel best represent the direction our style-driven performance basketball business. We’re looking at athletes who are unique in their approach to style, their game and their life in general.”

Converse got out because they were purchased by Nike. They focus on their retro shoes, primarily the Chuck Taylor's.

Under Armour has a chance to get into the market. That new Cam shoe looks good. I'll cop it when it's on discount.

Reebok is focusing more on their Crossfit line, which is gaining steam.
