Redtails is cool on the surface, but it feels very in this context.

They can't use indigenous people as a mascot anymore so they're gonna use Black people instead, just because it's close to the current name and won't require a complete rebrand. This wouldn't even be a discussion if the Airmen were called Bluetails. All they have to do is slap a new logo on their current jerseys and changes 5 letters on any text and boom, not only do they get props for something that should've happened a decade ago, they get extra credit for being "conscious" and "woke" and "honoring Black history" which was their same excuse for using an indigenous mascot in the first place and cacs are gonna use this as a sign of progress

I never said there was anything wrong with keeping the colors. And naming them Redtails ain't gonna make cacs any madder than it would having Redskins as the name. It's just a football mascot.
