Are u saying Black Thought ain’t a raw emcee? Are u new or something? Lol. And Biggie is dead.
He is amazing, and The Roots are elite, but I don't think he is in this tier IMO, you think he would have the same legacy if he wasn't a live band rapper? I don't

He dropped 2 undisputed classics; and arguably has the greatest hip-hop track ever created under his belt :dahell:
:francis::francis::francis:

Where are CL's follow ups to those albums without Pete Rock?
CL had more steam and after the group broke up, dude just fell off.
Then he drop in '07 with American Me.
Thirteen years of hip-hop moved on without him.
CL could have dropped two more classics by '00 if he got with another producer.
He wouldn't have missed a step with DJ Premier or Ski in '96 before Camp Lo dropped.

CL would have surfed over beats from '95-'99.

He could have done more.

Hov has no business being on an Avenger’s list..

Jay-Z is like Bucky after he got his arm ripped off. But he can easily take it back to being the Winter Soldier:wow:

Are we talking about right now or primes anyway? If we talking about right now,his avengers would get folded up swiftly:flabbynsick:

People would kill to have his legacy. You're downplaying his achievements. Just say you hate CL smooth and KIM :camby:

I don't hate CL, just wish he didn't let 13 years pass before dropping another project.
There were too many producers in NY at the time his group broke up for him to drop classics without Pete Rock.
C'mon, don't act like that. I wanted more from CL, that's why I'm disappointed in CL - I don't hate CL, I hate that he didn't rise to the occasion after Pete Rock.

I would urge people to watch the entire interview if they grt a chance. Redman shows why he was one of rap's first great interviews.

Arguably the rap interview goat.
