i regret not going to a RHCP concert back in the 2000s.

Been going through their disco and I gotta say, these dudes are in my top 5 bands. I've always been sort of a casual to them, but now I have much more appreciation for their work. Californication was the first album I listened and I forgot how great it is.

Are they influenced by hip hop? Kiedis flows like a hip hop rocker at times.

Anthony Kiedis got more flow and bars than most rappers out these days....I wonder what he would sound like on some hip-hop production

Under The Bridge one of my favorite songs ever, any genre. They’re catalog is stacked
100%.
And the thing I like about the Chili Peppers is they don't take themselves too seriously. Successful bands can sometimes get pretentious. RHCP seem like such down to earth dudes. Their videos are always entertaining too.

Check out this album, it’s a solo project. Gotta recommend headphones to listen. There are so many layers musically

One of my favorite live performances by RHCP:

RHCP always paid respect to George Clinton. If not for them, a lot of bands would not have made it.
