Yea man…… basically….. I was being like a coli nicca and popping off “Cuz I think I’m the shyt” when I should’ve just STFU and minded my biz.

like in the beginning of Ch4 when I first got to this new town.

I’m on my horse (my fav horse too)

And I pass a posse and here one guy talking shyt and trynna punk me. I pull out the hammer thinking I was gonna scare them (cuz I’m a real nicca)

But I underestimated them and didn’t know they was real niccas too:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

It was like 10 to 1:russ: and I ended up getting hit by a train:bryan:
:wow:

What a game

If I would’ve just minded my biz and went about my way to the Fence I was going to. To sell all my pelts…… I would’ve been beat this game.

But man….. I was soooooo pissed, cuz I put so much time in getting legendary shyt and finding the treasure from some maps.

To lose that shyt and have to go back a chapter. I was irate.

I had to put the game down :mjlol:

Ehhh... If Far Cry can make prehistoric shyt and COD can make WWII shyt and Assassin's Creed can do all those old ass time periods.......... Then they could easily do dope westerns

it's all about writing...you got a good plot and great characters, with some nice set pieces...people will play it

I gave up on this game. I didn't want to but the single player was just too much.

You can't avoid getting stars, they're a pain to get rid of, u don't have freedom, and it's just not as much fun as GTA 5. I loved the first RDR om ps3.

This is really disappointing to see because I feel like the company's that make video games listen to people like you when making games now. They are gutting single player story modes for the all out fukkery and money grab of the multiplayer online game.

Me I like an in depth single player story mode in an open world. I like playing myleague in NBA 2k (off topic somewhat but pertains to your post) vs the CPU in a simulation of the NBA.

I wish these video game makers could find a balance to satisfy the gamers who like single player modes and the multiplayer online gamers but it seems they are swaying towards the money and the online gaming.

But I like single player modes as much if not more than online.

I just don't feel like RDR gave me the freedom I feel with gta 5.

I'm an adult who doesn't have a ton of free time, so sometimes like on gta I just like to turn the game on a do a bunch of fun stuff in a free world. And when having fun if I acquire 4-5 stars, I can get rid of it. On RDR once you get any stars you're food basically

It’s avoidable. Especially as you get further. It’s so realistic. You can’t just put on a mask, rob some people, take it off and you’re good. You gotta go change your whole outfit sometimes to avoid the stars.. Or not even come back to that city for a min

And that's the issue I have with Rockstar. I get that every company wants to chase the dollar.. It's never enough. That's business. But to completely abandon the thing that you were built up on, in the middle of doing it, is crazy. They were showing exactly how to do it, leading the pack, and just dropped the two best games of their genre, of all time.... And then simultaneously say fukk everyone who built it, fukk who bought it, and fukk who wants more... We going all in on online and calling it a day. Couldn't even have the decency to release it under some new IP. Just took the ones they had and shifted the whole thing. It'd be like Last of Us suddenly going online only or Elder Scrolls.

I might try to actually play this again. Cut it off on chapter 1 or 2 last time because of how shyt the controls are. What's holding me back is I already know the entire story so it just doesn't feel worthwhile to play.

I felt that way up until the first 10 percent of the story.

After that it really picked up and was enjoyable.
