the encounter that caught me off guard was if you camp out and go to sleep, when u wake up, there's a chance 2 Murphree Brood will warn u to never come around those parts again (ofc u have to be in murphree territory)

Arthurs reaction to it was something else. One of the Brood will have a gun pointed at you point-blank, and Arthur's just like "I can take care of myself, thank you."

That shyt scared the fxck outta me... i didnt know what was happening, I thought my playstation got hacked or some shyt.

Im here mashing every button on my controller but I couldnt move. This deformed HIlls Have Eyes mothafukka just cheesing at me with a revolver pressed up to my dome. Another one 10 feet away slightly offscreen calmly telling me how badly I fxcked up.

The next time I ran up on some Murphree Brood was about a month later. I was riding through some random trail through Roanoke they were firing pot shots at me behind some trees.
Im like FXCK no not this time.. im taking ALL they asses out

I get off my horse and rush them in the woods, gunz blazing...All of a sudden the fxcking ground fell out underneath me and a fell into a big ass pit. THey literally set a damn TRAP for me and baited me into it. I look up and 10 of these b*stards surrounded the pit and lit my azz the fxck up. whoopin and hollering at me and shyt

Ive never played any game where the free-roam AI npc's could randomly do you so dirty in a calculated effort like that with no warning.

it really is amazing the detail they put into this game. an open-world master class

Another campfire random encounter is when the woman from that area with all the deformed people (cant remember the name) will come out of nowhere and try and sit near you at your campfire. I don't believe it's anything malicious tho, she just wants a place to sit down

but yeah, the nightfolk are scary as shyt. All their random encounters are scary. IDK how to unlock their side mission tho

off the top those are my favorite encounters

This game has the best side missions that dont feel like a waste of time.

Those grays be talking shyt too outta nowhere. Always 3 v 1. You talk back and they wanna catch my fade. I drop the first clown and the rest wanna be about gunplay now its worst when it down in that Rose town cuz that one sheriff joins in. The other sheriffs start shooting each other, thr random citizens go at it too

RDR 2 and GTA 5 not getting any single player DLC should be a crime. Both RDR1 and GTA 4 had great expansions for single player, but the bigger and better sequels get nothing.

Rockstar should just release RDR1 as DLC for RDR2. So players can play the story from start to finish.

Cant wait until the announcement where they open the north west part of the map and then thats followed by opening up mexico in the next DLC

going to be one of the most epic events and maps of all time

I guess Rockstar backed out of that announcement because I haven’t heard anything about that since replaying single player earlier this year.

I finished the main story and epilogues and I have to say without a doubt, this is the greatest game ever released. Better than Socom 3 and final fantasy tactics. Flawless.

Rockstar should just release RDR1 as DLC for RDR2. So players can play the story from start to finish.

At this point I'd be perfectly fine with them just releasing a director's cut version that includes the 5hrs cut from the game. The fact that the princess was removed from the story but the clues to find her and her model still being in the game makes no damn sense. RDR2 is a perfect example of a game going from GOAT to forgotten, because Rockstar is desperately trying to make Red Dead online as successful as GTAV online but no one gives a fukk about it. Fans have been begging for single player content and Rockstar has continued to ignore the fans.
