Just found out this game had so much cut content
Tempest Rim (area marked on map like a town is inaccessible, you have to do the out of map glitch to reach it. My guess is this area would've been a native ran town)
Prologue was cut, we would've had either the heist as some theorize or play as Arthur in New Austin as he wasn't with the gang at all. instead the game starts off in Colter.
Mexico map has "indentations" in the spots the buildings and landmarks were in RDR 1, this like every other thing in the game, was cut short or outright removed because they didn't have much time left to work on the game.
This explains all of the inconclusive mysteries in the game: Witch's Cauldron, Meteorites (and the third meteorite that can't be found because it was never added), Gavin's friend, Chelonian cult side missions, mutant hybrid taxidermy and others I forgot.
Take Two wanting this game out fast after it being in development since 2012 which is understandable but the game would've been much better than it already insanely is
It makes even more sense why Dan Houser quit, he probably wanted to add everything missing in a story dlc, which Take Two doesn't like because it takes time and interest away from Online and microtransactions
