I cant believe in my whole year of owning the game I'd never done the bandit challenges. Just done about 5 of them now, they fun as fukk.

Depends on what you mean by unoptimized...

I played around with settings and I can now run it with a mix of ultra, high, and med settings at 4k at around 50 fps...

If I drop it down to 2k I can run it on mostly ultra and high settings and get around 75 fps...

I have a 1080 ti. I actually have to in nvlink...i did some of the stuff in nvidia inpsector to get sli working but i only got like a 4 or 5 difference in framerate...not enough to matter...

I run it at 2k...shyt still looks

If you are trying to run it at 4k ultra everything...not happening...even a 2080ti can't do that at 60fps

Did the black belle sidequest and on my way back some guy was on a horse and fell out

I tried to get him to the doctor in St Denis, but he died when I ran into a pole

I picked him up but ran his pockets first AND EVERYBODY went crazy

I shot everybody and save scummed

This game is crazy

After that I tried to go to the gunsmith and got robbed

I ran dude down with the rope and got reported for kidnapping

I sold a few pelts to a trapper in the middle of nowhere on the map. completed the transaction and dude started threatening me, telling me to get tf out of there. I stood there for a couple more seconds and he just took off yelling "we'll see what the police think of this" so I had to run down on him and end him . idek what I did but I know those bounties ain't cheap (early game)....

Man robbing homesteads just never gets old.

Just hit that ranch north of Rhodes again. Waited until nightfall, scoped the joint with my binoculars, had a cigarette then donned the balaclava hood and got to work
Had about 4 mf'ers hogtied in the living room while I ransacked their shyt dry

Also no matter how many times I play through that abandoned slavery homestead in Lemoyne with the family photo under the floorboard is always sad AF

So I'm like, damn $10 more and I can get the special edition stuff with all DLCs AND story mode and online bonuses?

So I guess the real question is....is it WORTH getting all the DLC content and bonuses?

Really enjoyed this game. Loved it. Once it got going, it was hard to put down. Still, the games pacing (gameplay mechanics included) and story were so thorough and engaging that it was essentially completely digested on my first playthrough. I really took my time and while I'm sure I didn't find everything, I got as much juice out of the squeeze as I could.


This was one of those games where I won't have it in me to playthrough again until a few years down the line. It's so lengthy and deliberately paced that a single run will hold me for awhile. Felt the same about Witcher 3. Maybe if I'd have rushed it I'd have the urge to jump back in, but I took my sweet time. I'm good for awhile.
