For some reason Rockstar jerry rigged that game to only work on consoles. Only way RDR1 hits PC is if they remade it from scratch.

They didn't jerry rig it...

They never released RDR1 for PC because of how piss poor the GTA IV PC port was...

The RAGE engine GTA IV and RDR1 were running on was a coding nightmare so they chose to spend time and money refining the next iteration of RAGE for x86 instead of releasing another half assed port...That decision is why performance between GTA IV and V on PC is like night and day...

Completed the storyline when it dropped for PS4, was planning on replaying it for XBoxOne but I might have to skip that and run it on my PC. 9th Gen Intel, RTX graphics with G-Sync and HDR. It'll be epic!

Probably can do that via Mods, only location missing is Mexico but the asset is in RDR2 even though you can't visit it. Nearly every character model from RDR is in RDR2, even Bonnie
