Have you found the treasure maps for the gold bars? That alone will give you 5k which is more than enough to keep you supplied with ammo and health tonics. Aslo bounty hunting and animal hunting will pay you a decent amount of money. Look out for stranger missions where someone needs help being saved, because sometimes they'll reward you with money that can range from $10-$75 dollars. Lastly robbing stagecoaches can also give you a good amount of money as well.

Probably common knowledge but I just discovered this now. If you take a boat out to the middle of a lake and shoot into the bottom of it, holes will appear and water starts seeping in causing it to gradually sink.

I’m still on chap 4 of this game. I have more fun doing the challenges/hunting instead of the actual missions. Rockstar better bring heat with GTA6
