The only time I've ever stayed on a horse is if the distance is from the saloon to the post office, outside of that I always find myself getting into some type of bullshyt.

I get you, but still, like others said, there is so much bullshyt to do, collect or more importantly, instigate. Like ANY fukker talks to me too hard, I pull the strap and see what they about; fukk a honor rating (I'm playing honorable on my first playthrough). But at times the distance between towns/missions can seem pretty monotonous if you keep dying and have to take the same route over and over again.

Always somebody talking shyt that require you to flex on 'em, plus you find so much shyt randomly searching houses and interactive looking locales and the always entertaining odd NPC they toss your way. Half the time I got to call my horse, I'm running from or after something.

at camp there is a map you can select where you want to travel.. every town has a "taxi" that'll take you anywhere... and then there's the train
also you can set a marker, and have it autopilot you there instead of fast travel

The explosive ammunition is crazy. You can decapitate people limb by limb by shooting different body parts with explosive bullets.
I hog tied one guy and shot off his arms and legs. By the end only his torso was left and you're still able to pick it up and walk around with it
