If you played Red Dead 1 it’s worth it IMO. If not it won’t have much impact anyway. I will say I was salty af and started the game over after the epilogue tho.

I'm convinced RDR3 will be set in the 1870's or 1880's and will take place more out west. I'm thinking they're gonna extend the map westwards from New Austin and create areas based on states like California, Utah, Nevada etc. maybe even going a little up north to states like Washington and possibly even Canada.

By leagues and miles. GTAV is definitely a comedy though. A satirical take on life. The MAIN storyline in this game is meant to be a true western tale about the taming of the west. Completely different vectors.

Agreed. From a story standpoint, the Red Dead series blows GTA away.

Between the two games, they managed to tell one long ass Western style Greek tragedy. It's even crazier that when you sit down to think of it, the central character of the series isn't who you think it is.

It's like they learned their lesson from people not liking them doing a real story in GTA IV, and just moved that shyt to another series.
