I started a second playthrough, and I'm catching some of the smaller stuff.
It was clever that they had Ross and Jack interact with each other down by the river when Arthur takes him fishing, seeing how their next meeting by a river turns out.

all the online “money glitches” are a bust, because if you know about it, best believe it’s gonna be thousands of other people who know about it as well, then it’s a dozen people around the same spot killing each other over 2 pieces of jewelry.

Yeah just hunt. You horse can store tons of pelts. Got to earn money that way but they do need to drop the prices or make money easier to get . NO way in fukk should a bow and arrow be 120$ in the game, not modified, might as well be 12,000 in this days currency
