Aw damn. I thought they said the hale was like 100 hours. I was looking forward to it
Breh, I'm 40% and still on chapter 2. There's some fukkery with that percentage because there's at least 5 chapters that I know of.

yea i don't know what goes into that percentage, but every other rockstar game, 100% meant you did everything and found everything the game had to offer. so it is strange that at 2 chapters in.... nikkas is damn near halfway done with the game

i will say the websites all had it at 40-50 hours for story, 100 for 100% same length as the witcher 3... i didn't see anybody beating the witcher in 5 days

I love this game everything about it is better than the original.

Not as crazy about the soundtrack like red dead redemption 1.

Red dead redemption 1 is one of the greatest video game soundtracks of all time.

shyt was some straight up wild west gun slanging music...:wow:

Had a breh blasting that shyt on surround sound.

this game does seem really fukking short... i did a manual save and i'm already at 21%...

like what the fuc? i'm not even out of chapter 2. in my mind, gta and rdr in the past, was like 50-60 hour games... and even then it was another lifetime to 100% it

i haven't done shyt and i'm already a quarter done with everything... i guess that's why the world and immersion is so deep. they plan on you getting lost in it without going through missions... still tho, i figured it'd be longer

almost had another bounty put on my head for being a simp. Saw some women hogtied on the back of a horse screaming for help, so I saved her, shot the kidnapper. While I'm looting the body somebody gon come and try & snitch :gucci: I'm trying to explain to this muthafukka it ain't what it look like but there they go running :francis: so I kill em too :yeshrug: then somebody else gonna witness, now I'm running up a hill to kill them as well :picard: even killed his bytch ass dog :demonic: threw all 3 bodies in the water :steviej: crazy thing is you even see the blood mix in wit the water :banderas:

Also Flaco bytch ass tried to act like shyt was sweet & I didn't know what was gonna happen when he walked out that cabin :mjpls:

now I got ya treasure maps :sas1::umad:

You killed the dog breh :gucci:

I mean I make it a point to not kill any dogs:francis:

I reloaded saves twice cause I accidentally killed two with some dynamite:francis:

Then again...you probably don't want to know how I use using the dynamite...so who am I to judge:francis:

How long it it take you?

Been playing all day every day since Friday.....I'm actually not finished with the story yet still got a bit to go. But I've barely done any of the stranger missions, hunting, side quests or just simply exploring the map...planned on doing all of that after the main missions were finished.

I can’t wait until I open up Saint Denis(yea I know technically you can go there anytime but I heard the first time in story you go there is memorable and I don’t want to spoil that) Running up to the far northeast side of the grizzlies for the trapper is annoying

3. You Can Travel on Autopilot, But It's Risky

Continuing in this vein, there is a way to “autopilot” yourself back home which is poorly explained in the game. I thought that “cinematic mode” was simply to make the game look cool in boring segments. What I did not realize that if your horse is in a run, you can switch to cinematic mode and they will follow the road to whatever your current waypoint is without you having to press any more buttons.

There are a number of downsides to doing this, however. First, this will be slower than manually riding somewhere because your horse is only running on “medium” speed, not sprinting. This will also not let you do any horse bonding along the way. But more important, because Red Deadis a dynamic world, you will often run into trouble in cinematic mode, be it crashing into other horses or wagons if the autopilot is off by a hair, or running into specific events. Last night I put myself on autopilot to get back to camp, only to run into a roadblock full of gang members trying to get revenge on me, and I watched myself get cinematically shredded by a gatling gun they had on the back of a wagon before I could manage to regain control. You need to be aware more often than not on the road.
